Does blogging really make money? Is Money By Blogging Possible in 2023

YES. Of course, you can monetize your blog, but how much money you make from it is entirely up to you.

There are a lot of things that factor into how much you can make the blog work towards your earnings, like how you go about SEO for your blog, what types of ads you go for while monetizing your blog, your affiliate products, how can you spread your reach, what you do to make your presence more prominent et. al.

It’s possible to plan out when you’ll need employees by your earnings, too.

which would look a bit like this:

Just You: $50,000 – $70,000 a year with just one blog
Hire some freelancers: $70,000 – $100,000 a year
Hire some part-time employees: $150,000 – $250,000 a year

Hire Full Time Employees: $300,000+ Per Year

This above is not the final rule, My partner & I are Bloggers and run 4 Blog sites. We hire a few freelancers( basically content writers)and we make around $250K + Growing per year from all 4 niche sites…

This will certainly change from BLOG to BLOG, and the amount of work you feel people can handle, but putting it in these terms let’s you have a rough idea of when you’ll need to start looking at taking someone on the books, and how much you can allow for it.

But, as with everything in SEO, marketing, timing and precision are key here.

Don’t start with employees from day on, and understand that you don’t go too long without taking someone on board.

Google AdSense and other Ads companies

Everyone applies for AdSense after starting their blog, Google AdSense is the best monetization network powered by Google which helps bloggers to make money from their blog.

If you are just started then maybe it is tough for you to make a good amount from Google AdSense but after some months when you start getting high traffic on your blog, your Adsense increase will also increase.

Affiliate Marketing

I got my first earning from the Affiliate Marketing and this is the best method to make money from the blog.

Affiliate marketing is the art of promoting others products on your blog and get a commission on every successful sale.

There are many companies are running their own Affiliate programs and the big names are ShareAsale, Clickbank, Amazon, AWeber, and Flipkart.

Advertisement Space for Sale

Again, if you have a fresh blog with little traffic, this approach will not work for you. 

Once your blog begins to receive a lot of traffic, this approach can help you make a lot of money from it. 

You may sell ad space on your blog, such as the header, sidebar, or footer, to those who wish to advertise their brand, product, or website. 

You may charge them based on the number of days they want their ad to appear on your blog and the sort of ad. It is the simplest approach to generate money from your blog, but you need have a lot of visitors to your blog.

Consultancy & Live Courses

Consultancy is another fantastic way to generate money from blogging that does not require you to sell your own things or promote the products of others.

Rather, you assist them in blogging guidance and strategy development, assisting them in earning more money from blogging, and so on. 

They give you money in exchange for this consulting service.

You may earn money by demonstrating your skill. For example, if you are exceptional at blogging, you can help others start and expand their blogs. OR provide a complete service for WordPress Blog set up  for your clients.

 Supported Post sponsorship is another fantastic option to earn a big amount of money from blogging in a short period of time. All you have to do is evaluate the products and services on your blog, and they will pay you for it.

A sponsored post is similar to sharing your experience or comments with your reader about a product or service that you already use.

At the same time, you may generate affiliate revenue. On your blog, you may include your affiliate link for the product you’re reviewing.Isn’t it great that you’ll earn money from both sides.

What is Business Blogging:

Business blogging is a tactic used by marketers to attract a very targeted audience to both, increase online visibility and public relations purposes.

Business blogs must be maintained to provide great value to the readers and promote the business at the same time as the audience to business blogs are also expecting it and that is why business blogs if set up correctly, can produce very high ROI.

The first reason I stay motivated to blog is that I  love blogging and it’s my passion !!. 

My job as a Founder and Director of a Digital Marketing Firm (Digitallydiv Approach) requires me to blog often for the Clients or just to share our knowledge across the internet.

 I have not ever thought about quitting this line of work and don’t see myself ever quitting, although I could see maybe my interest kind of turning into more of a website/portal. 

But I would still blog and create content for our Agency website. as well as for the clients.

The second reason What motivates me to Blog,  I feel safe as a blogger and also I am proud of being one!. 

It’s indeed a tough job to crack into the many industries that we work with like the law, vets, Dental Practice, accounting, finance ,real estate, Dental and Interior Decorators and it can seem like a real battle but I think  I am trying to transcend my objectives that  I have set for myself, and it matters to me a bunch-full.

Lastly, I love connecting with people around the world. Living in Australia (aka far off continent down south), makes it even more wanting to be connected with the rest of the world. To be aware of what’s happening out there and so on!!
