Legal stuff

My Partner Manny and I  love being Lifestyle bloggers. We  LOVE cars of all kinds and hence want to share my joy and interests with as many people as we can.

Being able to offer companies an affordable avenue to advertise and to create an income for me is also rewarding. It’s a real joy to love what we do.  It’s very important that we follow guidelines that make me accountable to our readers and the regulatory bodies that oversee consumer protection. (On a side note, the Regulatory Body workout is totally not like the Beach Body workout…just saying)

Disclosure

It is very important that bloggers are transparent when it comes to being given products and/or monies in exchange for articles or product promotion. In fact, it’s the law and clearly outlined by the Federal Trade Commission.   If a blog post is sponsored, a disclosure statement will be made at the beginning of the post. If it is a sponsored Tweet, the hashtag #ad or #sponsored will be included in the tweet. Disclosures will also be made with Facebook posts, YouTube and Instagram if I am receiving a free product or monetary compensation for promoting a company.

Amazon Associates Program

peplifestyle.com is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to; for example in my case,  car Supplies or any lifestyle-related items on Amazon.com.
Additionally, peplifestyle.com participates in various other affiliate programs, and we sometimes get a commission through purchases made through our links.

Additional Notes on Product Promotion

We would never promote anything we don’t believe in.  That would be, well…just wrong. There are costs to running a blog; Hosting Platform subscription, graphic design, and time spent writing and researching.  And coffee.  LOTS of coffee.
