However, it will not be as tasty as a chef-prepared steak in a posh restaurant with a very attentive waiter waiting on your every need. 

Simply said, go out and take one for a test drive. If you enjoy driving it and you can afford it without making sacrifices in other areas, you should consider purchasing one of these vehicles. 

I’m pleased I went forward with it.

Is it really worth the extra cost?

A Porsche 911 has long been a dream of mine. I’m not sure why this is happening. 

I’m an introverted person by nature, and I believe that the understated/quiet performance and humble appearance drew me in.

The trouble is that now that I’ve finally been able to purchase a Porsche, I’m really hesitant to spend the money. 

I absolutely want to purchase a high-end automobile, but when I look at the available alternatives, the Porsche appears to be the most expensive. 

I’d like to have a few things in my life, specifically:

Convertible vehicles are vehicles that can be converted into another type of vehicle (always wanted this)

AWD (All-Wheel Drive) (Not sure if this is a MUST, but I live in a snowy city in the UK and this will be an everyday driver)

It’s a nice gearbox. In fact, I’m really fed up with dull automatics, and although I enjoy driving a manual, I’m not sure I could handle driving one in traffic every day. 

I’m considering purchasing a Porsche 911 Carrera 4 GTS Convertible. It comes out to around $180,000 with a few extras including the PDK. 

Obviously, this is a fantastic vehicle, but when I compare it to an M4 convertible, is it truly twice as wonderful as the M4? It’s essentially twice the price, to be honest… 

The same is true for the new C63, which will debut next year.

The fact that it is virtually hard to test drive any of these vehicles is just another source of frustration. Because they are all in such high demand or have not yet completely sold out, none of the merchants has any inventory. 

If I want to be able to drive it, I’ll have to walk into the store and get one for myself. Well, the point is If you’ve always wanted a Porsche 911, you’re not going to be happy with the other cars. 

I went through something similar a few years ago. Looked at the Porsche but decided to do the practical thing and bought a Mercedes S Class instead. 

The thing is, I still wanted a Porsche 911. Ultimately things fixed themselves.

Look at the videos Nick M has on YouTube comparing the 911 and the M4. Despite all the problems he had with his first 911, he announced that he is coming back after less than one year with the M4.

For test driving, if you can find a 911 with the X51 power kit or a 50th-anniversary car, that is basically the same as the GTS. The GTS is just a limited edition trim.
