10 Benefits of Blogging for Business | Pep Blogging Engine

Every day, I create blogs for different companies. It’s like, my passion and my Work!.

However, I’ve been questioned about the point of business blogging so frequently that I can’t even begin to count how many times people have asked me about it.

Even though inbound marketing has been around for quite some time, the question “why do we do it?” is still asked by a great number of individuals. What are the goals of running a blog for a business?

The other day, someone inquired about it, and my immediate thinking was, “Oh fine, let me just link them to the number of posts I’ve written about business blogging.”

Only to come to the realisation that, well, I haven’t published any posts about this topic. 

Blogging is a topic that I’ve covered in a variety of contexts, including that of lead generation, website design, inbound marketing, lead nurturing, and many others. 

However, I have never truly written about the reasons why business blogging is so significant in its own right and why it is a service that we give to almost all of our customers. This is something that we do for virtually all of our customers.

My bad, folks. There is a significant gap in the text there. However, I am here to put things to rights.

Many of the major search engines love fresh and relevant content. 

Business blogging is one of the most straightforward and highly useful methods for a business to create.

When a business creates blog posts on a regular basis, they are constantly providing Google, Bing, Yahoo and the other Search Engines with fresh content to index. 

This is indeed an opportunity for businesses to add those relevant and on-point keywords that customers will use to search for the types of services or products that the business offers.

Business Blogging is a good way to build trust with your target audience through high-quality content that they find relevant. 

Business Blogging provides the opportunity for you to connect with your existing and potential customers in a different, more conversational way. 

By adding an active comment section in the blogs, businesses will be able to follow the visitors’ responses to their posts, and will also be able to respond directly to the customer’s comments, which is enormous in building trust and relationships.

Brand awareness is a highly important element of marketing and business blog posting will allow you to show your followers a personal side of your business. 

As Meagan Marrs says for a brand or product to become a proprietary eponym is pretty much the pinnacle of brand awareness. 

By Opening up your brand message and engaging with existing and prospective customers in a way not possible through outbound marketing mechanisms and techniques, hence Business blogging will give others a clear and valid sense of the corporate standards, business character, vision, and personality of your company.

When it comes to blogging, most of the sales would most likely come from the older posts. Studies suggest that about 65 percent of the traffic each month on this very blog comes from posts that weren’t published in the current month. 

As a matter of fact, the traffic mainly comes from older posts. 

The same goes for the leads generated in a current month, about 85 percent of the leads generated every month comes from blog posts that were published in previous months or even a few years ago.

HubSpot calls these compounding blog posts because they continue to bring traffic month after month, year after year. 

In fact, one compounding blog post is worth six ordinary blog posts. According to HubSpot, 10 percent of the blogs bring in almost 40 percent of the website traffic. 

     Personal blogging means people having their own place in the web world, where they express everything from their personal beliefs, concepts, Ideology, tips & Tricks, preferences, hobbies, and relating personal stories from their everyday life. 

    Business blogging works based on a similar principle, that is having an own place on the web were to present yourself as a company, Interact with customers, show what you’re like as a company and as a human, and  engage with your followers, just like you do on a personal blog.

    5. Establishes you as an authority figure in your field

    When working in many different fields, it can be challenging to stand out from the crowd and establish yourself as someone the media can consult for a sound bite, or to establish yourself as someone a potential client can trust as the authority on the topics in which you specialise.

    Blogging may provide a number of “soft” benefits, one of the most significant of which is the ability to establish oneself as an authority in your field. 

    If you do a search on Google right now for “experts in [name of industry], you’ll discover that many of the people who hold positions of authority have either personal or professional blogs.

    6.Develop something of value for your clientele.

    This is one of the benefits of blogging that is sometimes underestimated, despite the fact that it is of enormous value to your current consumer base.

     If you are able to answer their worries or questions in extended form and assist educate current clients at scale, this will be of great advantage to them, but you will need to make sure that they are aware of your articles.

    One recent example from the real world that demonstrates this is the post that I wrote about how to to do Local SEO a month ago. 

    I had a client a few weeks prior to that ask me about the best way they could keep an eye on their own search engine optimisation, and I took my few paragraphs of email response and turned it into a lengthy and actionable blog post, for the benefit of both the client and everyone else who reads it. 

    This post is for the benefit of everyone who reads it.

    Take for example this blog. One of the pieces that has made it into our Top 10 so far this year was one that was published early on in the year.

     It was indexed by search engines over time and eventually obtained a very healthy rating, landing on the top page for a number of keywords. Initially, there was just a little amount of interest in it, but over time, this increased significantly.

    Now, the purpose of this article, as well as many of our other postings, is to bring to people’s attention the fact that we not only provide services in these areas, but that we are also knowledgeable in these areas. 

    Because of this, there is not an immediate cash return; nevertheless, we are increasing our brand recognition, and as a direct result of our blogging, we do receive inquiries that result in new customers.

    8.Establishes vital ties to other resources. a.k.a Backlinks

    I will assume that you are aware of the significance of backlinks for search engine optimisation and that you are aware of the significance of each and every inbound link for your brand. 

    Blog entries, regardless of how well your product page or homepage may seem, are by far and away more desirable for people to link to than homepages or product pages.

    Let’s say you just finished writing an article and now you want to connect to an external site that discusses the importance of having Indoor plants while having pets.

    This has had a significant positive impact on their SEO, which in turn drives traffic, which ultimately results in consumers.

    Backlinks and the SEO benefits of blogging have already been discussed earlier on in this piece. What these factors do naturally is enhance the amount of exposure you receive on search engines, which in turn brings more customers to your company website.

    This does not, in and of itself, provide any meaningful value to your company; nevertheless, it is far more probable that some of these new visitors will make a query or get in touch, which, as a natural outcome, leads to increased sales and profitability for your company.

    Nobody is going to manually enter in the address of your website in order to visit it immediately. 

    It doesn’t happen. When was the last time you really visited “www.peplifestyle.com/blog” to check out the most recent posts on our blog? I say never.

    Even though I am a regular contributor to our site, I don’t even do that.

    Paid advertisements come at a high cost. Using paid advertising is one way to ensure that your message gets seen by the appropriate audience. 

    We indeed promote it. However, you shouldn’t rely on this strategy alone if you want to increase traffic. 

    Mostly due to the fact that it’s pricey. You should employ several marketing methods in a strategic manner. 

    That you should limit your spending to areas in which you anticipate significant returns.

    Blogging about your company is your best bet for attracting more and higher-quality visitors than any other method.

    Purchasing email address lists is Not legal. Just don’t do it. Sending unsolicited emails to random persons is not only unethical but also ineffective in terms of its return on investment. 

    Once more, we are discussing strategic approaches to the problem.

    You may put a significant amount of money into an email list, and it may only bring you a few prospects in return.

    Blogging for business, if done correctly, has the potential to generate a large number of leads while only requiring two or three hours of total effort to be spent on each blog.

    Keyword research is essential to creating successful business blogs that attract qualified visitors.

    Because this isn’t a blog specifically on keyword research, I won’t go into it in great detail, but I will provide you with a couple resources for keyword research that can be found here

    In essence, you should make it your mission to publish blog posts that:

    • Are important for the operation of your company
    • Find a solution to a typical challenge or a pain point that your ideal customer experiences.
    • Are based on a keyword or phrase that has a strong search volume but relatively moderate levels of competition

    10. Allows you to network in a virtual setting.

    Another one of the less tangible, or “soft,” benefits of blogging, but one that I believe nonetheless holds great value in its own right. 

    Over the past several years, I’ve attended a few conferences, and at each one, I’ve met new individuals who immediately brought to mind one of the blog posts that they’d just read on our site.

    This, in turn, helps me create actual relationships with individuals, both in the face-to-face arena (before COVID, of course) and via email and social media platforms like Facebook , Insta and Twitter.
