The Shangri-La Hotel, Paris, is a hotel palace on the other side of the Seine from the Eiffel Tower. It was once the home of Prince Roland Bonaparte and is on the list of “Monuments Historiques” in France.
It shows both the art of living in Asia and the French way of life. One of its two restaurants has a Michelin star. The hotel has an indoor pool and a spa. The Place Trocadero is 500 m away.
Some rooms and suites at the Shangri-La Hotel in Paris have amazing views of the Eiffel Tower that are hard to find anywhere else.
All of the rooms and suites, except for the Signature Suites, are decorated in shades of blue, white, and ecru, which fits both the European Empire and Asian styles.
All of the rooms have a separate living room with a desk and a marble bathroom with heated floors, a separate tub and rainfall shower, and Guerlain toiletries.
The furniture in the rooms and suites is made to order and has a crystal finish. There is a flat-screen TV with movie channels, an iPod dock, and a safe for your laptop.

The designer hotel Sofitel Le Faubourg is in the centre of Paris, just 50 metres from Place de la Concorde and 100 metres from the famous Champs-Élysées.
It takes place in two private homes from the 18th and 19th centuries.
At the Sofitel Paris Le Faubourg, all of the rooms and suites have air conditioning and are decorated in the style of haute couture.
They were all redone by a well-known interior designer.
They are soundproof and have a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, free WiFi, and a large private bathroom.

Don’t forget to reserve on their website before going. I think the queue is always huge, and if you don’t reserve you might end up standing in the crowd there which is not pretty cool. If you reserve, you will not wait in the queue and you will get a table

Great city views, excellent atmosphere
Cosy, pretty bar, excellent views of the Eiffel tower with excellent ambience but be prepared to queue to get in unless you make a reservation and they were booked up when we went. The service was friendly and excellent but the staff rushed off their feet so be prepared to wait for your drinks.
