Which Audi model has the highest level of dependability?

When looking at the reports from Which? and ReliabilityIndex, we can see that, just like with any other manufacturer, certain models perform significantly better than others. 

However, reliability data is not available on all Audi models that are currently being sold in the USA…

  • AUDI S7
  • Audi SQ7
  • Audi TT 
  • Audi SQ5
  • Audi A3

All of these automobiles were given scores that were lower than 190 on the ReliabilityIndex scale; nonetheless, the Audi TT was rated the most reliable by both Which? and the ReliabilityIndex organisation. 

However, despite receiving a high score on the ReliabilityIndex, Which? only gave the A3 two stars for its reliability.

Which Audi model has the lowest reliability rating?

  • At 85,000 miles, the spark plugs were replaced, not because the automobile had broken down but rather to improve the vehicle’s acceleration, which cost $400.
  • At 105,00 miles, I decided to repair the vacuum pump since it was leaking, and I also decided to replace the water pump as a preventative measure; the total cost was around $900.
  • Every 6,000 miles, the oil must be changed at a cost of $150. (this includes a check up as well)
  • The car is doing really well, and I really enjoy the 3.0 SUPERCHARGED engine, which is arguably the most capable engine in this segment.

The spark plugs  cost $400; the spark plugs themselves cost $10 each, but the labour price is what brings the total up to $400. 

 Audi oil change costing $150. Audis require synthetic oil, and the cost of the oil by itself is around $50. 

The remaining costs include the filters and the inspection performed by my trusted Audi technician (not a dealer).

By June 2017 , mark noticed the car was shaking while braking at high speeds (70+ MPH), so Mark brought the car to my mechanic and had the front brake rotors changed. The parts cost him $255 and the labour cost me $150, so the total damage to the bank was $405.

How do used Audis do in terms of reliability and price? – No, they are not; in terms of dependability, For those of you who measure distance in kilometres rather than miles, I am currently at 115,500 kilometres with Audi ( 186,000 Miles). 

In the countryside, I get around 8 miles to the litre, but in the city I can go approximately 800 kilometres on a single tank of gasoline, giving me an average of 12 miles per litre.

Sept. 2017 was the month in which the tyres were finally in need of repair after having traveled at least 40,000 Miles (it came with the car when I bought it). 

The cost of four tyres and installation came to a total of $759. Additionally, I had the wheels aligned and balanced, which set me back $89 total.

The vehicle has accumulated a total of 118,600 miles of mileage thus far (190,899 Miles).
